Mock crash through a first responder's eyes

Most people know the reason why we hold a mock crash event every year; to warn students of the dangers of drinking and driving. Students see the police officers, state troopers, firefighters and EMS arrive, watch the scene go down and listen to the presentation. What isn't seen is the behind the scenes.

GV staff earn PASR Lauretta Woodson Award

Summer acting training comes to Philadelphia

This summer, aspiring actors ages 14–18 have a unique opportunity to develop their craft through an intensive acting program hosted at the University of Pennsylvania. Running from July 6 to July 29, 2026, the Summer Acting Training program will take place at the Platt Student Performing Arts House, offering students a focused and professional environment to grow as performers.

Science Olympiad scores big at regionals

On March 13th, the GVHS Science Olympiad team competed at regionals and had the most medals ever won in the school's history! The team won 5 first place medals, 6 second place medals, 2 third place medals, 2 fourth place medals, and 3 fifth place medals.
